With more than 25 years of experience in Pakistan tourism and having travelled to 35 countries around the world, I have come to realize that Pakistan is truly one of the most unique destinations on Earth.

After spending 25 years travelling throughout Pakistan—from Karachi in the south to Hunza and the Khunjerab region in the north—I decided to create a tour that allows international visitors to experience Pakistan through the eyes of local people.

NORTH PAKISTAN EXPERIENCE

 12 Days Cultural Adventure

Day 1 – Arrival in Islamabad

• Arrival at Islamabad International Airport.
• Welcome by Discovery Pakistan Tours.
• Transfer to a local family home.
• Traditional Pakistani welcome dinner.
• Introduction to Pakistani culture and customs.

• Overnight: Local family home, Islamabad.

Day 2 – Islamabad to Kalash Valley

A spectacular drive through:

• Malakand
• Dir
• Lawari Tunnel
• Lower Chitral
• Enjoy beautiful mountain scenery and lunch with a local family along the way.
• Continue into the magical Kalash Valley (Bumburet).
• Dinner with your host family.
• Overnight: Kalash Valley.

Day 3 – Discover the Kalash Culture

Spend a full day exploring the fascinating Kalash civilization.

Day 4 – Kalash to Mastuj

Drive through Upper Chitral.

• Overnight: Mastuj.

Day 5 – Mastuj to Hunza via Shandur Pass

Travel across one of Pakistan’s most scenic routes.

• Lunch with local residents in Phander.
• Continue to Karimabad, Hunza.
• Dinner with your host family.

 Day 6 – Explore Hunza Heritage
